Wordless Wednesday: Sing out loud

Yup! You can sing out loud and only you and your friends can hear you singing. Even if you sounded just out of nowhere, you can sing and express yourself freely. I'm referring about the most talked about and one of the famous videoke bars in our town, "K1." Took this photo awhile ago but unfortunately team opted to some other location, just a stone's throw from this place.

Weekend Snapshot-Saturday Trippin'

(Warming at Bo's Cafè which is located along the busy streets of Torres)

(Singing out Loud at Cats & Dogs)

(candid Shot dw at Microtel) LoL!

Since we don't know where to go after our Coffee trip at Bo's Coffee and Videoke galore at Cats and Dogs, the 3 of us just ended up having a road trip and landed at Damosa Complex. We just thought of visiting the different bars on the place but to our dismay, the places were already jam-packed with so many people and we can no longer find a seat. So, we just decided to roam around the place and stopped over near Microtel and took some pics. It's already 2 in the morning when me and my twin sis drove home.. So exhausted while driving and my pretty sis just went to sleep at the back seat.. Hmmp! Pasaway talaga d man lang nkipag exchange sken mgdrive and we have to travel 15 kms pa nmn to reach home. Lol.. Anyway, got awards from my mom when we got home.. Lol.. I mean we're being reprimanded since we forgot to text them..

Wordless Wednesday-Leaning Tower of Pisa

One of the greatest advantages of being a seafarer is that you can travel around the world no charge gratis! And not that all, you’re also being paid because of working in a Luxurious Cruise Ship! Whew! How I wish I could also travel around the world without costing any penny. Anyway, I just grabbed this picture from my brother’s album in his friendster account. Behind him is the Leaning Tower of Pisa or simply The Tower of Pisa (La Torre di Pisa) which is the campanile, or freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa. It is situated behind the Cathedral and it is the third structure by time in Pisa's Piazza del Duomo (Cathedral Square).

Weekend Snapshot-Dinner at Buffet Palace

(got this photo from wikipedia since my Halo-Halo
pic is blurry.. it should supposed looks like this)

After the 5th mass, we immediately headed downtown to take our dinner and we happened to land at Buffet Palace in Matina still here in Davao City. I was with my family including my twins sis joy, sis Erica and my mom and dad when we went to the place and it's my elder sis Erica whose gonna foot the bill. Well, it's actually my first time dining in that place and I was kinda coy when it comes to getting some food because I'm starting to feel some peculiarities in me. I mean, I'm a little bit hesitant to take large amount of food in my plate. But when I see the viands, desserts and everything served in the table, I was starting to drool. Lol.. So I took every viand that looks delicious for me. Actually, just after I finished savoring the main course when I thought of getting pictures from the food that I ate. So the photo above is the second dish that I took from the Buffet that is being served. And another dessert which is called Halo-Halo which is a popular Filipino dessert that is a mixture of shaved ice and milk to which are added various boiled sweet beans and fruits, and served cold in a tall glass or bowl. After that I grab another dessert but when I was supposed to take them some pictures, the batteries of my Digicam were staring to become empty until it shuts down. So that’s the only pics I got during our dinner.. It's kinda blurry.. Sorry for that my battery is getiing low when I took those pics. Happy a happy weekend ahead!

Got more entries here and here.

Weekend Snapshot: Thinking of something wonderful

This photos we're taken last Tuesday when my BF and I visited the Gap Farming Orchard Resort to have our bonding moment. At that time, only a few visitors came in so the place seemed to be so quite but still we managed to appreciate the beauty of nature though. Around 5pm, only the two of us were left, it seemed to be eerie so we decided to go home immediately.

I have another entries at Catsy Carpe, Life Blog, Pets, Jheine

Friday escapde

It was a great friday for us Angels of the Lord (Rosary group) for we had a great time together with the birthday celebrant Rikki Montero who is now taking up his Theology Degree at St. Francis Xavier Regional Major Seminary at Catalunan Grande, Davao City. We had some chit-chats about his experiences while staying in the seminary, his happy and strict moments with the Rectors and a his sullen days whenever he misses his family but still trying to diminished those gloomy days for he believes that there is more to life just like serving and knowing God. Though only a few of us went to the seminary to throw him a small birthday party but still it was made possible and Kuya King was so happy because of that surprised.

The fun never stops there when we had a long hike on our way to the main high way. We passed by different diocesan sanctuary, seminary and universities such as The St. Francis Xavier Seminary, PM Sisters, Holy Adoration Chapel for Pink Sisters and I forgot to capture photos for the other two's. Well, it was indeed a great friday for us journey .

Vonzana Resort

Here's my entry for this Week's Weekend Snapshot! Hope u find it interesting guys.. The photos were taken yesterday and just this morning at Vonzana Resort at Bansalan when I went along with some of my twin sister's college friends going to Bansalan to attend a Thanks Giving and Despidida( farewell) Party as well. One of her classmate's named Al threw a party since he finally reached the verge of his pedestal that is to passed the Civil Engineering Examination and Despdiida because in due time he will also be venturing abroad for his greener Pasteur. Almost all of them are now holding the title Engineer...Well best of wishes to these guys and of course my dearest twin sis..

Bansalan is about 72 kilometers south of Davao City and is very accessible by land transportation mostly by buses going to Cotabato City, Kidapawan City, and Tacurong. Bansalan is about 12 kilometers northwest of the capital city of Digos. Her neighboring towns include Makilala, North Cotabato in the north, Magsaysay, Davao del Sur (formerly called Kialeg) in the west, Matanao, Davao del Sur in the south, Mt. Apo and parts of Digos City in the east.

A worth visiting park

When I learned that Chester is taking me to the new park after malling, I just responded with a shrug because I was expecting of some other place like in Jacks Ridge. Actually it would be my first time to visit the place and thinking that it’s just a mere simple park in our town.

The new People’s Park is actually located in central Davao and surrounded by several hotels such as Royal Mandaya Hotel, Apo View, Hotel Galleria, Casa Leticia and stone's throw Marco Polo Hotel. In close proximity is also the Casino Filipino where rich people gamble, Liquid Bar and Summit where every teen hang outs, and of course if you feel the hunger, take the plunge to the different barbecue/grilled eateries such as Penong’s, Banoks, and other’s where pigging is very welcome. And if you want to try classy and chic edible foods, there are also high class restaurants, bistros, and café’s, located nearby.

When we reached the place, I was taken aback because it seemed to be a very cozy park, perfect for dating and family hang-outs though it’s jam-packed with myriads of people and tourists. The place was indeed filled with so much artistic faculty and creativity for its theme epitomizes the different tribes and picturesque spots in Mindanao. Well I owe Chester a lot for taking me into that nice park in town and it’s indeed worth strolling.
